Hey Crayola,
This:
TONS of fun.
My boys LOVED it.
But this:
It’s tiny, let’s look a little Closer:
THIS is something I’d like to talk with you about.
Easy to clean means I spray my shower with the hand held sprayer and it’s clean. But my shower still looked like this:
Easy to clean could even mean that I spray a little 409 on my shower, then spray it with water and it’s clean. But my shower still looked like this:
Easy to clean definitely does not mean I spend 20 minutes on my knees with a scrubber and spray bottle of bleach.
Wait.
What’s that?
Oh, you put an asterisk at the end???
Oh, ok, sorry, my bad.
Sincerely,
CamCam’s Mommy

My husband and I are laughing... Sorry... but we're glad you discovered this before we did!!!
ReplyDeleteOh man! What does the asterisk mean on the box? (what did the fine print say?)
ReplyDeleteI bought the Alex Toys version from Target right before Christmas - it's so easy to clean, my 2-year-old cleans it up! It's the only brand I'll buy from now on.
ReplyDeleteI definitely don't have 20 minutes to clean after bath time fun. Sounds like the Alex brand is a little easier.
ReplyDeleteHow sucky! I just love* that fine print.
ReplyDelete*As in I hate fine print.
Oh wow... awful! My son LOVES his bath crayons and we've never had a issue with cleaning them off the walls. Bummer.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, this is no good for sure. I can barely stand the time it takes for bathtime, much less having to clean up afterward.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the painful lesson learned.
That stinks. Glad you were finally able to get it off thhough - don't think I'll be trying those.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry... I don't want to laugh at your expense... but on this, I can't help it! Too, too funny.

Oh boy....that kinda rips the fun right back out from under you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment and the follow. I always check out someone's blog if they leave their link. I'm so glad you did because I enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteI think the fine print should say... "We lied so you would buy this." - sorry Crayola
Don't try the Avon version because it stains the tub & the kids.
Thanks for the heads up! We have an unopened box that I think I'll return :).
ReplyDeleteI'll go try the Target one in exchange.
Happy SITS DAY first off - I can relate to this post I have the same grievances about these crayons - don't even get me started about the stained GROUT!! I had to bleach the shower/tub!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is beyond darling! I think if I had small kids again I would be blogging about the exact same stuff what a great way to capture this precious time!
